A stream is a named channel for grouping related events – for example "payments", "signups", or "errors". Streams are created automatically the first time you send an event with that stream name. No manual setup is needed.

Yes. Every event accepts a metadata object – key/value pairs where values can be strings, numbers, or booleans. Metadata is displayed alongside the event and can be used for filtering and analytics.

Yes, on paid plans. You can attach 1 image per event on Starter, and up to 4 on Plus and Enterprise. Images are hosted on our infrastructure and displayed in the event feed.

You can delete individual events or an entire stream (including all its events) from the Events section. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Send an event with notify enabled and everyone subscribed to your project gets an instant native push notification on their phone and computer – no polling, no email digest. Each person can mute the projects or streams they do not care about.

LogsNinja supports iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux. The mobile app uses FCM for push notifications. The desktop app maintains a persistent WebSocket connection for real-time delivery.

Yes. In the mobile and desktop apps, you can opt out of notifications for specific projects or streams without affecting others.

Metrics are named scalar values – such as "MRR", "Active users", or "Churn rate" – that you update via the API. Unlike events, a metric has a single current value that is replaced on each update. Metrics appear as tiles on your project dashboard.

Charts visualize your event data as lines, bars, pies, stacked bars, multiple grouped lines, or ordered conversion funnels. Simple counts use pre-calculated statistics; advanced metadata and distinct-user analyses query the matching events.

Choose at least two event titles in their expected order. LogsNinja counts unique linked users who reached each step after the previous one, then displays conversion and drop-off through the sequence.

Yes. Create a chart under Charts, then add it to your dashboard as a widget. You can also add metric tiles and built-in insights (world map, top countries, online users). Each widget has a configurable width of 1/3, 1/2, or full width.

The free plan includes 3,000 events per month, push notifications, the mobile and desktop apps, up to 3 organization members, and a shared rate limit of 60 requests per minute across all endpoints using an organization API token. Tracked application users are not limited to three. No payment method is required.

Events that exceed the monthly quota are rejected with a 429 status code. You can upgrade your plan at any time from Settings → Subscription to increase your quota immediately.

Yes. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

The rate limit is shared by all endpoints using an organization API token, including events, users, presence pings, metrics, and delete operations. Limits per minute: Free 60, Starter 300, Plus 1,200, Enterprise 6,000. If you need higher throughput, contact us about the Enterprise plan.

Event data, metrics and analytics are stored on Cloudflare's globally distributed edge database. Account, billing and configuration data is stored on our own servers in France.

You can delete individual events, streams, tracked application users, and metrics from the Events, Users, and Metrics sections. To request deletion of your LogsNinja account and its associated organization data, contact us using the support form or the public contact page.
